(1)Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, not lower than a third class, in any area of Biological, Medical, Bio-medical, or Paramedical Sciences and are currently engaged in activities requiring knowledge of Genetic Counseling or Forensic Biology. These include members of the Police Force, clergymen, medical and legal practitioners, security personnel, and other related personnel.”
(2) Any other interested candidate with a Bachelor’s degree not less than a third class inany area of Education including Education (Biology), Arts, Social Sciences who require Forensic Biology or Genetic Counseling in their endeavors.
(3) Any candidate as stipulated in (2) above who wishes to proceed to M. Sc. degree in the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics may also apply. Such candidates are expected to score a minimum CGPAof 3.00 in the PGD programme.
(4) Notwithstanding the possession of 1,2 or 3 above, a candidate may be required to
satisfy a selection process.
