Regulations and Services Overview:

1. Beneficiaries: Full-time students and University employees (including spouses and up to five children) are eligible for free medical services. Health insurance is provided upon registration with University Medical Services.
2. Refund of Medical Expenses: Under specific conditions, medical expenses may be refunded, including referrals to LUTH or emergencies requiring treatment outside regular hours.
3. Emergency Services: Acute emergencies are addressed at the Health Centre, with consultation fees applicable for non-university members.
4. Maternal and Child Health: Child welfare services, family planning, and prenatal/postnatal care are available. Staff receive free antenatal care.
5. Dental and Optical Services: The university is not responsible for dental and optical appliance fees.
6. Consultation Schedule: Regular consultation hours are from 8.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. After-hours services are available until 8.00pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays.
