The University of Lagos is committed to the health and wellbeing of its students, staff, and the surrounding community. Our Medical Services department provides a comprehensive range of healthcare solutions designed to meet your needs.
Emergency Care: Our Health Centre offers 24/7 emergency medical services. For emergencies, contact us at 09095879781.
Primary Care: Receive general consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for various medical conditions at our Health Centre.
Accessibility: Located conveniently on campus, our Health Centre provides easy access to medical services for all members of the university community.

- Partnership with LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital): We collaborate with LUTH to offer a wider range of medical services for complex conditions.

Regulations and Services Overview:
- Beneficiaries: Full-time students and University employees (including spouses and up to five children) are eligible for free medical services. Health insurance is provided upon registration with University Medical Services.
- Refund of Medical Expenses: Under specific conditions, medical expenses may be refunded, including referrals to LUTH or emergencies requiring treatment outside regular hours.
- Emergency Services: Acute emergencies are addressed at the Health Centre, with consultation fees applicable for non-university members.
- Maternal and Child Health: Child welfare services, family planning, and prenatal/postnatal care are available. Staff receive free antenatal care.
- Dental and Optical Services: The university is not responsible for dental and optical appliance fees.
- Consultation Schedule: Regular consultation hours are from 8.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. After-hours services are available until 8.00pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays.
