The M.Phil. programme is open to candidates with either:
(a) A Bachelor’ s degree in Botany, Biology, Microbiology, and Agricultural Biology or
any other related subjects with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) or An M.Sc. in Botany or related subject, of this or any other approved University.
(b) The Ph.D. programme is open only to candidates having an M.Phil or equivalent
qualification in Botany or related subject.
“The M.Phil. (Botany) degree may be obtained by:
(i) A candidate with a master’s degree by coursework from this or another approved university, or an equivalent qualification, passing a minimum of six but not more than 12 units.
(ii) A candidate with the appropriate Bachelor’s degree from this or another approved university, passing a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 42 units.
(iii) All candidates must satisfy all other requirements of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
