“The Department of Civil Environment Engineering offers programmes leading to the Postgraduate Diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering as well as Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in the following Senate approved specialized options.

1. Highway and traffic Engineering
2. Structural Engineering
3. Water Resources and Environmental Engineering
4. Geotechnics and Foundation Engineering

The Postgraduate Diploma is available only on a part-time basis with a duration of 2 years the M.Sc programmes are availble on full time (1 year) and part time (2 year) basis. Part-time programmes are targeted at the vast number of practitioners in Civic Engineering profession who, are very keen on taking up challenges in Post-graduates studies but for the nature of their jjob cannot do this a full-time basis. Graduates shall have the opportunity Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering on a full time or part time basis, or as a staff candidate”
