Legal Depository
Under the Publications Law, (Cap.107, of the Laws of the Lagos State of Nigeria. 1973), the Library became a legal depository for two copies of all books published in Lagos State. The library is also a depository for the publications of United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (E.C.A); General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, (GATT); International Court of Justice (ICJ) and orders for selected publications of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
